About Me

I believe that you have the ability to achieve fulfilling life goals and to make healthy life choices for yourself. As a mental health therapist, my job is to simply be the tool to assist you in the decision-making process and to achieve those goals. I have experience in both the inpatient and outpatient settings – treating a variety of issues for teens and adults.

While I have treated a plethora of cases, my specialties include: impulse control disorders, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and sexual behaviors & issues. I draw from a variety of therapies to meet each client’s unique needs – such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, and more.

I will work with you to create and achieve goals that are important to you – all while remaining compassionate and nonjudgmental. I am currently scheduling clients for both weekday and weekend appointments. I look forward to hearing from you.

When he’s not in session, Kevin enjoys traveling, playing the guitar, and watching his favorite sports teams.

Emily Smith, LCSW

Chief Operating Officer

Nashville, Las Vegas

About Me

My philosophy about therapy is that when you meet a client where they are, they can achieve every and any goal they could possibly think of. My experience across various levels of care allows me to help you navigate through unchartered waters and to be with you throughout the journey. In fact, it’ll be my honor to do so.

My style is best described as empathic, person-centered, goal-oriented, and filled with humor. I have treated a variety of cases and can effectively do so. However, my specialties include anxiety, depression, trauma, and disordered eating. My therapy is eclectic, but I mainly pull from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) & Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I am currently scheduling cases for both weekday & weekend appointments. I also look forward to hearing from you.

Outside of therapy, Emily enjoys spending time with her two dogs, cooking, and exploring the mountains.

About Me

I truly believe that mental wellbeing is not achieved with a “one size fits all” mindset. Therefore, I follow an individualized treatment approach that integrates mind, body, and spirit. I focus on each client’s unique mental health concerns within the framework of their environments, circumstances, and belief systems.

I listen without judgment and strive to maintain an inviting environment that fosters trust and safety. I integrate medication management as a valuable tool in the mental health care “toolbox,” while encouraging participation in psychotherapy and other treatment modalities that improve overall wellness. I have clinical experience treating clients with symptoms of depression, anxiety, OCD, psychosis, mood disturbances, ADHD, and many other complex mental health complaints.

About Me

My passion involves helping individuals and couples navigate the complexities of life. As an Air Force veteran, I bring a unique perspective to my practice, allowing me to connect with a diverse range of people.  My military experience enriches my appreciation for unique human experiences, and I am committed to inclusivity, supporting women’s rights, the LGBTQ+ community, and equity across all races.  I strive to create an environment where everyone feels heard, respected, and valued.

As a therapist, I embrace a humanistic, emotional, and attachment-based approach, incorporating modalities such as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and others to effectively support clients in achieving their goals. I place a high value on understanding the emotional bonds and relationships that shape our lives.  My focus lies in harnessing the transformative power of confronting one’s truth for personal growth, fostering genuine connections and collaborative exploration to deepen self-understanding.  I am currently available for scheduling with individuals and couples, offering sessions both virtually and at our Nashville office throughout the week.

About Me

What I enjoy most about being a Therapist as well as a Certified Professional Coach is collaborating with my clients to identify what is holding them back as well as co-creating a plan to help them progress so that they can reach whatever goals they are trying to achieve. Using a combination of CBT, REBT and Motivational Interviewing, we work through the past, move through roadblocks, and identify any thoughts & behaviors that are not serving them, their relationships, or their future selves. We will also focus on how to communicate effectively, how to develop higher emotional intelligence, and how to create healthy boundaries. As a 20 year former veteran of the music and entertainment business, I work with a variety of clients (including the Nashville Music Industry) as well as anyone who is struggling with issues such as: Depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and some who just feel stuck in their current lives. Watching people navigate difficult seasons and growing into better, happier versions of themselves makes this work my life’s passion. I am currently scheduling clients during the week and on Saturdays both virtually and in our Nashville office.

I am highly social and love to have fun. You are likely to find me on a trail with my dog, on a pickle ball court, at the newest Nashville restaurant, somewhere listening to live music, or hanging with my friends and their kids! I believe having hobbies and a close community of people is the key to a fulfilling life. I also like to volunteer and hope to find more time to partner with local organizations in the near future.

Ursa Bozeman, LMSW

About Me

I am a queer, trauma informed therapist. I place heavy emphasis on radical acceptance with all clients. My sessions are a judgement-free, fully accepting space. I also emphasize accountability and a realistic outlook on personal actions & emotions. We will work on both accepting and understanding the emotional responses happening and will work to create a more stable mental state by acknowledging when responses are based in reality versus based on internal struggles.

I am a big advocate for psychoeducation and often find people can better process emotions and traumas when they understand the scientific basis. I will share this information to those clients who feel similarly! I have experience in treating religious trauma & will never enforce religious aspects in my sessions unless the client brings it forward as something that is helpful to them that they would like to include. I operate on a client centered basis and often bring in multiple modalities to fit what each client’s individual needs. Therapy is not and never has been one size fits all. I have experience in a wide variety of subjects & traumas & hope you will find there is nothing you can bring to session that will surprise me or create any level of judgement. I strive to create an environment that is safe, comfortable, & welcoming.

About Me

I see therapy as a space to learn and grow. In the therapy space you can develop skills and tools to increase coping skills and improve to become the best version of yourself. You need to DO better in order to be better.

As your therapist I am here to provide support. The aim is for you achieve your goals by learning what you can DO to BE better. I believe you get out of therapy what you put in. You must show up and put the work in for yourself. No matter your past experiences you can face them and work to change your trajectory. The first step in moving forward is the action of taking the first step. When we focus on what we can do, that is where we meet change.

My style is authentic and candid. I will show up every day as myself because I want you to be you in therapy.  I have learned therapy is not one size fits all, so I pull from different modalities to make it your therapy. My therapeutic approach includes using Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and psychoeducational approach among other evidence-based practices. It is also vital to look at the whole person because your mental health is directly impacted by things such as nutrition, exercise, physical activity, sleep, work, hobbies, rest, social relationships, and self-care.

Outside the four walls I like the outdoors. A walk, a hike, a porch, a trail, a field, a lake – anywhere, just let me be out there. Do not be surprised if you see me reeling in a fish or walking a trail.

About Me

I believe that seeking therapy is a courageous first step – that when met with genuine human connection, empathy, and compassion, one can begin making changes towards living a happy and healthy life. I value the sacredness of the therapeutic relationship and trust that clients put in me to be emotionally vulnerable and to share their stories. I strive to help my clients practice self-compassion, overcome personal barriers, and accomplish their goals. Whether you’re struggling in your interpersonal relationships, your relationship with yourself, or with mental health concerns that feel overwhelming, I can offer emotional support and guidance in these challenging and confusing moments.

As a therapist, I work from a holistic, person-centered, and strengths-based perspective. I provide counseling for individuals who would like helping navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship or marital issues, depression, sleep issues, life transitions, and faith/spiritual concerns. I strive to provide a safe, kind, and nonjudgmental environment for all my clients. Together we can determine what works best for you so that you can find peace and clarity.

I believe the relationship between therapist and client is the most important aspect of therapy, and I hope my office is a place where you can be yourself. We all need help sometimes, and we’re not meant to go through life alone.

In my free time I enjoy traveling, watching movies, reading, cooking, kayaking, exploring Nashville, and spending time with my friends and family.
